Alexandria Cooke, M.D.
Alexandria Cooke, M.D. was born and raised in the metro-Atlanta area, but has spent a significant portion of her adult life in Tennessee. As an undergraduate she studied Biochemistry at Southern Adventist University, received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, and completed her family medicine residency at UTHSC at Chattanooga in 2019. She has participated in several short-term mission and spent nearly a year in the mission field after college. Currently she is pursuing additional training in the Advanced Obstetrics Fellowship at Clinica Medicos in Chattanooga, TN. She is passionate about serving the underserved and empowering patients to take ownership of their physical and mental health. She hopes to have the opportunity to educate future medical students and residents, as well as serve the marginalized populations in our country. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and a variety of musical genres.
